Biker Boys to Barmouth

What a fantastic 1st ride out together in 2026. Went out through Ruthin and over toward Bala via the Clocaenog Forrest, turning right on to one of our favourite roads, the A4212. The reservoirs were higher then we had seen in a long time, which is more than I can say for my tank - the bike was riding on fumes so we were very please to get to the petrol station !!!!
That didn't change the spirit of the ride and the bikes were just flowing and leaning and behaving brilliantly. PC's Sat Nav did seem to want to have a break after the long winter and was buggering around at the petrol station, but after a good re-boot, all was well!

Eventually got to eat in this place near Barmouth - Dylan's'. It's always been closed when we have tried before. Anyway not to today and we must say - excellent soup and a great cup of tea. We'll deffo be going there again me thinks!!

Still as beautiful as ever - Llyn was looking particularity stunning and the turquoise sea was as flat as a mill pond. It was just a great day out so far as the roads were quiet - few bikes out, but not mental so we had the roads to ourselves.
Road back through Barmouth and alongside Bala lake, taking the normal route home - obvs had to stop for a cheeky pint in the GL before heading home a for a Chinese Banquet - all in all a rather lovely day
